[Remote] Web Developer (React/Angular|Responsive & Accessible Web Application)

They are seeking a Web Developer to design and develop responsive and accessible web applications that support a large-scale online education ecosystem, ensuring intuitive user experiences and reliable front-end functionality.
Responsibilities
β’ Design and develop modern websites and web applications using current front-end technologies
β’ Build responsive, mobile-friendly user interfaces with strong attention to usability and performance
β’ Ensure web applications meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices
β’ Collaborate with product, UX, and technical teams to implement features and enhancements
β’ Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and improve overall application stability
β’ Maintain clean, reusable, well-documented code following development standards
β’ Support integration with APIs and enterprise backend systems as needed
β’ Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of development practices
Skills
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
β’ 3+ years of experience designing and developing websites or web applications
β’ Strong understanding of modern web development principles and UI best practices
β’ Experience delivering responsive web applications across multiple devices and browsers
β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen
β’ Must be eligible for and capable of obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance
β’ Must be currently residing in the United States
β’ Must be willing to travel occasionally to Washington, DC for in-person meetings
β’ Proficiency in HTML
β’ Proficiency in CSS
β’ Proficiency in JavaScript
β’ Experience with modern frameworks such as React
β’ Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular
β’ Experience implementing Accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508 awareness)
β’ Experience with Responsive design and mobile-first development practices
