They are seeking an experienced and creative Web Content Manager to lead their website strategy and digital content initiatives, focusing on increasing engagement and optimizing web content.ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Development: Lead content creation, editing, and management for The Steve Fund website to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with our messaging and goalsWeb Maintenance & Optimization: Manage ongoing updates to web pages, troubleshoot any website issues, and regularly monitor site performanceSEO & Analytics: Implement SEO strategies to enhance search rankings, increase organic traffic, and improve user experience. Monitor site analytics and generate monthly reports to track progress and optimize contentDesign & User Experience (UX): Collaborate with designers to enhance site visuals and user interface. Ensure the site is intuitive, accessible, and engaging for diverse audiencesContent Calendar & Workflow: Develop and maintain a content calendar to support campaign launches, program updates, and marketing initiativesCollaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Director of Communication and Marketing, along with other departments, to ensure website content aligns with organizational priorities and reflects current programming and partnershipsCompliance & Accessibility: Ensure the website adheres to web accessibility standards (WCAG) and data protection regulationsSkillsBachelor's degree in communications, digital marketing, web design, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience managing websites and digital content for a mission-driven organization or similarProficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), HTML, CSS, and familiarity with web design principlesKnowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and accessibility standards is essentialStrong visual sense and understanding of UX/UI design principlesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiencesPassion for The Steve Fund's mission and a commitment to advancing mental health support for young people of colorExperience with Adobe Creative Suite or CanvaBenefitsHealth insuranceA monthly data/business expense stipendEmployer contributions towards a retirement planFour weeks of paid vacationEight sick days11 paid holidaysCompany OverviewThe Steve fund is health care organization.
