[Remote] VP\/Head of Product Management

The role involves collaborating with executives to drive product strategy, manage product roadmaps, and oversee automation efforts across services.ResponsibilitiesRecruit (as needed), mentor and lead a team of product managers, UI/UX engineers, scrum masters, documentation specialists, and project management resourcesDevelop & execute Product Strategy globally, aligning with the company's overall vision and business strategy and sales execution plansCreate and manage short-term (6 months) and long-term (6-24 months) product roadmaps, aligning with product strategy & business goalsDevelop and manage services automation roadmap and execution, leading their adoption into product roadmap as features and functionalities as appropriateAnalyze customer feedback, uncover market trends and prioritize roadmap execution plans based on themOversee and manage product release cycles, within +/-15 days of committed timelinesDefine clear quality acceptance criteria and ensure thorough quality assurance processes on all releases and patch updatesLead the development of product documentation, including internal resources, client-facing materials, and sandbox environmentsFacilitate regular communication with stakeholders such as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Professional Services to ensure that product value propositions are well understood, articulated correctly and positioned well in the marketplace, ensuring long-term success of the products and related customer experienceLead the Customer Advisory Board and User Forums, fostering strong customer relationships and gathering valuable insightsBe the primary evangelist and champion for MaxVal products internally and externally, including in customer interactionsSkillsStrong knowledge of product management principles, processes, SDLC methodologies and go-to-market dependenciesAnalytical mindset and data driven decision makingAbility to drive and manage P&LExtreme customer focus and passion for developing products that stand-outAbility to leverage technologies for efficiency, agility and performanceExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach to program executionProven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and organizational skillsStrong operational expertise across various functionsTeam management; experience in leading global, distributed, diverse organizations, serving a global customer base15+ years in technology product management roles, with at least 5 years in leading a team of product managers and/or product marketing managers leadership, ideally in the IP industryDemonstrated success in developing and delivering against product roadmaps; end-to-end product development experience of brand-new products a plusExtensive experience in working with collaborating effectively to drive roadmap execution with engineering teamsExtensive experience working with sales teams (account executives, solution consultants)Bachelor's degree in technology, business or marketing; advanced degrees highly preferredProven track record of collaborating with software product teams, services teams, and customer support teamsBenefitsRemote Work: Option for fully remote work, offering flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your well-being.Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan to help you plan for the future.Unlimited / Responsible Time Off: Flexible time-off policy.Company OverviewSince 2004, MaxVal has helped the world's most innovative organizations capitalize on their intellectual property by being different from the legacy IP solution providers.
