[Remote] VP/Director of Finance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alexander Technology Group is representing an Investment Fund seeking a VP of Finance to drive strategy and growth. This remote role focuses on coordinating financial operations, preparing forecasts, and supporting financial reporting for the fund and its portfolio companies.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with external auditors, including Deloitte, and portfolio companies to support the preparation and filing of tax returnsPrepare and maintain cash flow forecasts for portfolio companies to support liquidity planning and funding decisionsDraft and distribute funding communications and capital call-related emails to portfolio companies and stakeholdersMonitor portfolio company funding needs and ensure companies receive appropriate and timely funding allocationsSupport quarterly and annual financial reporting processes for the fund and portfolio companiesReview and approve bank transfers in accordance with internal controls and fund policiesAssist with onboarding new portfolio companies into the fund, including operational setup and documentation coordinationMaintain accurate financial records, reporting schedules, and supporting documentationSkillsCPA is requiredNeed someone with a Tax background – this person will be working with Deloitte and the portfolio companies to file tax returnsFinancial ReportingCash Flow ForecastingDue Diligence/Compliance backgroundM&A exposureVC/PE background would be very helpfulBenefits100% RemoteCompany OverviewAlexander Technology Group offers a variety of custom IT staffing and recruiting solutions to corporate decision makers.
