[Remote] VP, Supply Chain & Operations

They are seeking a VP of Supply Chain and Operations to oversee all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement and 3PL management, while driving operational efficiencies and scalability in a growing business.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for performance, cost control, service levels, and billing accuracyDirect ownership of outbound shipping, returns, and overall 3PL cost structureEnact a scorecard to measure 3PL performanceDrive scalability across fulfillment operationsServe as day-to-day liaison between 3BN and 3PLCollaborate and provide necessary forecasts for 3PL planningLead holiday and event planning to ensure 3PL performanceEnact scorecards to measure, share, and improve supplier performanceEstablish a process to share product insights and future needsInitiate business review meetings with top suppliersEstablish auditing and oversight process for direct suppliersManage the 3BN Procurement teamEvaluate and improve existing processesEnsure that procurement capabilities keep up with inventory/product requirementsSetup indirect procurement (e.g. packaging, shipping material, etc)Build a structured planning cadence to align the demand forecast, inventory, and financial targetsPartner with Chief Merchant to establish inventory targetsManage the OTB process, ensuring that quality and quantity metrics are maintainedWork through all supply constraints to sales forecastOwnership of carrier services including contracts, negotiations and ongoing optimizationSet strategy for shipping account usage to optimize cost and performanceOwnership of all supply chain data and reporting (e.g. WMS, forecasting tools, etc)Ensure data accuracy and alignment across systems architecture (e.g. ShipHero, Shopify, Inventory Planner, etc)Ensure that orders are placed and managed to meet pre-sale commitmentsPartner with suppliers to deliver products via pre-sale in accordance with 3BN plansSkills10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations, with demonstrated success creating solutions that make the business more scalable, keeping pace with a high growth environmentExperience leading in a high-performance, high-growth apparel business with digital and fashionA history of driving efficiencies in product costs and operating expensesAffinity for partnering with and influencing senior business leaders while growing talent within one's own team and across the enterprise is neededAn affinity for a creative, solutions-oriented approach to meeting the needs of the business, brand aesthetic, and customer is desiredAn authentic leader with apparel experience and strong analytical skills is requiredCompany OverviewThree Bird Nest designs, manufactures, and sells fashionable apparel, jewelry, and accessories.
