[Remote] VP, Strategic Finance

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Finance to lead financial performance and growth strategy across the organization. The role involves optimizing profitability, driving new business growth, and collaborating closely with the CFO and executive leadership team.ResponsibilitiesProvide executive oversight of financial performance, reporting, and analytics across the organizationMaintain deep understanding of financial statements, cost structures, and operating driversDrive continuous improvement in cost savings and budget performanceOwn enterprise margin strategy across fixed fee, T&M, and performance-based contractsIdentify, analyze, and remediate underperforming contracts and business unitsPartner with operations to improve labor efficiency, cost structure, and profitabilityDesign and implement financial models to incentivize organic growth and margin expansionDevelop performance-based bonus and incentive frameworks aligned to EBITDA growthEvaluate contract economics, pricing models, and NPV returnsBenchmark competitor pricing and industry margins to reposition offeringsSupport major bids, RFPs, and client negotiations with financial insightsDrive net-new revenue growth across priority verticals and sales channelsDevelop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned to high-growth segmentsIdentify cross-sell opportunities across services and existing clientsConduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunitiesAct as a strategic thought partner to the CFO and senior leadership teamPresent insights, recommendations, and performance updates to executive leadership and stakeholdersLead cross-functional alignment across Finance, Operations, and SalesDrive accountability for financial and operational performance across divisionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (required)5+ years in strategic finance, corporate finance, or consultingProven success driving revenue growth and margin expansionDeep experience with pricing strategy, contract structures, and deal economicsStrong background in financial modeling and analyticsHigh-impact, externally oriented finance leader with strong commercial instinctsExecutive presence with the ability to influence C-suite decisionData-driven with strong problem-solving capabilityComfortable operating across strategy, finance, and operationsWillingness to travel and engage directly with clients and field operationsMBA or equivalent advanced degree preferredCPA, CFA, or similar credential a plusExperience in facilities management, IFM, or service-based industries strongly preferredBenefitsSBM offers comprehensive benefit packages.
