They are seeking a seasoned VP of Secondary Marketing - Hedging & Analytics to lead a team of analysts in managing pipeline and MSR hedging strategies, maintaining risk management frameworks, and running analytics to optimize profitability.ResponsibilitiesOwn the interest rate risk of the mortgage pipeline. You will lead all hedging, trading, and loan sale activities to protect and enhance corporate marginsOversee diverse loan sale channels, including Agency whole loan cash sales, the issuance of Fannie/Freddie/Ginnie securities, co-issue transactions, and bulk correspondent salesConduct rigorous "best execution" analysis to maximize gain-on-sale. You will execute mandatory commitments with investors and strategically allocate loans into optimized poolsConfigure and manage secondary marketing systems, including investor pricing valuations, risk adjustments, and pull-through analysisRecruits, mentors, and manages a specialized team. You will be responsible for performance evaluations, professional development, and fostering a culture of accountability and "can-do" spiritDevelop and implement strategic initiatives, including new product development and operational process improvements. Provide ad-hoc high-level reporting to the executive teamSkills10+ years of mortgage banking experience, specifically within Secondary MarketingProven experience issuing Fannie, Freddie, and Ginnie securitiesDeep familiarity with trading and hedging techniquesAdvanced skills in MS Office (Excel/Access), SQL, Visual Basic, and secondary marketing risk management systemsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related fieldExceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to organize complex workflows to yield maximum efficiencyCompany OverviewAt Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, customer service is a way of life.
