This role involves shaping people strategy, managing HR initiatives, and enhancing organizational effectiveness to support business growth.ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, aligning people strategy with business priorities, growth objectives, and organizational performanceAnticipate workforce implications and deliver practical, forward-looking solutions grounded in business strategy and the operating modelLead enterprise and portfolio HR initiatives and contribute a clear point of view on talent, culture, risk, and change in leadership discussionsLead initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness across the portfolioAssess organizational health and drive actions that improve retention, manager effectiveness, and the employee experienceChampion change management and communication strategies that support adoption, trust, and momentumProvide leadership over HR policies, practices, and programs to support enterprise standards and the evolving needs of Optimal BlueDrive consistent, scalable people processes across talent, performance, development, rewards, and workforce planning, with clear execution and measurable outcomesLead a balanced approach to risk management that enables progress while addressing employee, legal, compliance, and reputational considerationsEnsure sound HR controls and compliance with employment laws, internal standards, and audit expectationsOversee complex employee relations matters and coach leaders through sensitive decisions with a focus on fairness, consistency, and business continuityBuild strong relationships with home office and corporate HR partners to ensure alignment, communication, and advocacy for the businessRepresent business needs while ensuring enterprise priorities and standards are implemented effectivelyNavigate escalations and cross-functional matters with professionalism and sound judgmentLead, coach, and develop the HR team, building capability, accountability, and a high-performance culture within a small teamAssess resource needs and establish priorities, operating rhythms, and service standards to support the business effectively as it growsLead and evolve the HR function through growth, building team capability and support models that meet the changing needs of the businessOperate effectively in a lean HR environment, balancing strategic leadership with direct ownership of key initiatives, employee matters, recruiting activity, and day-to-day HR execution as neededProvide strategic oversight for talent acquisition, onboarding, leadership development, succession planning, and retention across the portfolioPartner with leaders to anticipate talent and organizational needs as the business grows, strengthening organizational capability, leadership readiness, and bench depthLead portfolio and enterprise HR initiatives with disciplined execution and stakeholder alignmentLeverage people metrics and provide actionable reporting to senior leadership on workforce risks, engagement, talent, and HR outcomesPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBA/BS in Human Resources or a related field12+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including partnership with senior executives and leadership of strategic HR initiatives across employee relations, organizational development, talent, compliance, and cultureStrong working knowledge and experience with current US employment lawsDemonstrated success leading HR teams, influencing executives, and building trusted cross-functional partnershipsProficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems such as ADP and WorkdayAbility and willingness to travel up to 10%Ability to work effectively in a small, decentralized HR team environment, while leading the function through growth and balancing strategic leadership with a highly hands-on approach to executionExperience with the recruitment and retention of high-performing employeesExperience within a corporate or home office structure is strongly preferredExperience leading in a remote or distributed environment is preferredBenefitsEligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus planEnrollment in a wide range of choices of benefits , including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, short/long term disability, 401(k) participation (with company match)Minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employeesSick time based on state requirements8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per yearCompany OverviewWineFetch is an e-commerce and marketing platform for the retail wine and spirits industry It was founded in 2004, and is headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
