[Remote] VP of Finance | PE-Backed Better-For-You CPG | Remote (EST)

They are seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the finance and accounting function, support strategic decision-making, and improve financial infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Lead all core finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate, timely financial closes and reporting • Develop and deliver financial reporting, dashboards, and executive- and board-level materials • Oversee cash management, internal controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness in an investor-backed environment • Drive finance systems strategy and process improvement, including ERP optimization and workflow design • Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support growth planning and scenario analysis • Partner with commercial and operations teams on pricing strategy, margin performance, and cost optimization • Establish standardized costing methodologies, inventory tracking, and variance analysis across products and partners • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency within finance and accounting workflows • Build, mentor, and lead a growing finance and accounting team with a focus on accountability and operational excellence Skills • Experience in CPG, manufacturing, retail, or ecommerce environments • Senior-level experience across accounting, controllership, or finance leadership roles within product-based businesses • Strong understanding of ERP workflows, inventory management, costing, and financial controls • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills • Proven ability to build structure and process in high-growth, entrepreneurial settings • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights • Hands-on, systems-oriented mindset with a bias toward continuous improvement • Experience in PE- or VC-backed, high-growth companies • Direct involvement in ERP implementations or major finance system upgrades • Exposure to SKU-level margin analysis, profitability reporting, or production yield metrics • Interest in automation, analytics, or modern finance technologies • CPA or similar professional credential Benefits • Bonus • Potential Equity Company Overview • Harmonic is a B Corp Recruitment & Executive Search company that partners with some of the fastest growing start-ups, scale-ups, and entrepreneur-led organisations worldwide.
