The VP of Credit Risk & Analytics will oversee the credit lifecycle, driving strategy, pricing, and portfolio performance to support sustainable growth and profitability.ResponsibilitiesDriving portfolio performance, risk appetite, and policy directionBalancing competitiveness and profitability across segmentsAligning credit strategy with Finance, Product, Sales, and UnderwritingEnsuring analytics and data teams deliver business impactOwning IRR, cohort performance, roll rates, and funnel conversion metrics, ensuring alignment with company growth and profitability goalsDefining and evolving credit policy, underwriting strategy, and pricing frameworks that optimize risk-adjusted returnsPartnering across Finance, Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure consistent execution of credit strategy and influence business outcomesSkillsBachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred10+ years of progressive experience in credit risk with direct ownership of portfolio performance3+ years in a director-level or higher leadership role managing teamsProven track record of making credit and pricing decisions with measurable business impactExperience operating at an executive level with strong cross-functional influenceDeep expertise in portfolio management, pricing strategy, and unit economicsStrong understanding of underwriting processes, credit policy design, and segmentation strategiesAbility to interpret and challenge analytics outputs without direct model development ownershipAdvanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL and BI tools for data interpretationFamiliarity with credit decisioning systems, data vendors, and fraud toolsExperience leveraging data to inform strategy, stress testing, and scenario planningStrong experience in small business lending, alternative finance, or non-prime environments preferredBenefitsCompetitive Pay - We know your worth and we pay accordingly.Flexible PTO - Work hard, rest well.
