The Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (VP, HRBP) will align business goals with employees and management, providing guidance on HR needs while balancing business priorities.ResponsibilitiesAct as HRBP in an HR enterprise environment supporting key HR functions that include employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, learning & leadership development and complianceConsult and partner with management at all levels on people initiativesRecommend policies and procedures regarding employee relations, internal communications, employee morale and retention programs, HR compliance and procedures, benefits, employee selection, and performance evaluationAssist in the development and administration of annual performance review processes to ensure transparency about performance, effective manager leadership, and development of all employeesAnalyze trends to develop solutions, programs, and policiesConduct exit interviews and interpret results for management communicationsOversee policy administration and compliance with federal, state and local level agencies and legal guidelinesProvide performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actionsAssist employees or managers with employee relations issues, documentation, and remedial actionEvaluate and monitor existing training programs and conducts analyses for specific programs for client groupsMaintain current knowledge of federal, state, international and local legislation and regulations, assure programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government legislationCoordinate with employee(s) on FMLA leave and other LOA’sFLSA audit and evaluation and recommends classification changes if neededSuch other activities as may be assigned by your managerSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business, preferably with HR emphasis/major or the equivalent combination of education and experience8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, in a professional service organization, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalentSHRM preferred (“SPHR”)Requires experience and considerable skill in all aspects of the HRBP function including: recruitment, job classification, benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relationsPrior experience partnering with a HR Center of Excellence (COE) to drive key HR initiatives for business outcomesRequires a strong knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal/state laws regarding employment practices and labor relations lawsDemonstrate the ability to adapt to a variety of issues with successful outcomes and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approachesExcellent written, oral and organizational skillsMust have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management and other levels within the organizationMust be detail oriented, organized, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and personnelAbility to keep information confidentialAbility to think strategically and set directionMust know how to use MS Office Suite programs including ExcelExperience with Workday a plusBenefitsDiscretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approvalPTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policiesMedical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plansCompany OverviewSitusAMC provider of consulting, outsourcing, talent and technology solutions, supporting institutional lenders and investors.
