[Remote] VP Engineering- Data & ML Platforms
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ladders is seeking a VP Engineering- Data & ML Platforms to join a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. In this role, you will build and maintain systems that power mission-critical workflows, lead a global team of data engineers, and oversee complex data platform projects.
Responsibilities
⢠Lead and mentor a global team of data engineers and ML platform professionals
⢠Oversee execution of complex data platform projects and machine learning systems
⢠Implement a data strategy that modernizes platforms while aligning with business goals
⢠Manage financial responsibilities for a portfolio of data engineering projects
⢠Engage with business leaders to align data initiatives with organizational needs
Skills
⢠Comprehensive understanding of data domain including warehousing and governance
⢠Deep expertise in data engineering to lead large teams effectively
⢠Ability to create data as a product using AI technologies, preferably on GCP
⢠Strong grasp of modern architecture principles relevant to machine learning
⢠Proficiency in applying AI and machine learning to real business challenges
⢠Familiarity with machine learning platforms and technologies, such as SAS Viya
