They are seeking a Vice President of Cloud Engineering to lead the strategy and operations of their Microsoft Azure cloud platform and Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and less frictionOwn Azure landing zones, subscription strategy, core network topology, and shared platform services across all environmentsEstablish standards for infrastructure design, availability, resiliency, and scalability across Azure, M365, and supporting platformsChampion modernization initiatives, including cloud-native adoption, containerization, serverless, and legacy platform refactoringOwn the end-to-end Azure environment, including compute, storage, networking, identity (Entra ID), PaaS services, and platform toolingEnsure high availability, performance, and operational platforms as internal products with roadmaps, OKRs, adoption metrics, and stakeholder feedback loopsOperate as a peer to Product and Engineering leadership within an agile, product-led operating inspection, segmentation, and zero-trust networking, while retaining ownership of network design, performance, and reliability boundariesSupport third-party integrations and secure data movement patterns required by the businessPartner deeply with the Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure cloud and M365 environments meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and internal risk requirementsOwn infrastructure-level security posture: network segmentation, identity foundations, encryption standards, secrets management, and secure-by-design architectureEmbed shift-left security and DevSecOps practices into the platform and CI/CD pipelinesEnsure infrastructure supports auditability, logging, and compliance reporting requirementsParticipate in enterprise risk assessments and lead enterprise scaleAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including identity, security, compliance, and collaboration workloadsProven track record building and leading DevOps, System Engineering,
