This remote position allows you to provide personalized instruction and support to students across New York, enhancing their learning journeys from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver interactive online lessons tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aimed at fostering student success and growth.
• Continuously assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student’s education and well-being.

Required Skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with technology to facilitate effective virtual instruction.
• Strong capability to design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Experience in working collaboratively with families and educational support teams.

Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students or a related discipline.
• Valid New York TVI Certification.
• Proven experience in teaching school-aged children, particularly those with visual impairments.
