[Remote] Visual Brand/Graphic Design Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Active Minds, Inc. is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the culture around mental health. The Visual Brand/Graphic Design Intern will support the Marketing and Communications team by working on a variety of visual design projects that align with the organization's mission.

Responsibilities
• Developing Active Minds visual design templates
• Development of new store products
• Graphics support for the blog and website
• Design projects for Programs and Development teams
• Support ongoing visual brand audit and video support (depending on interest and experience)

Skills
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop required; all others a bonus)
• Self-starter with a positive attitude who enjoys working proactively and thinking creatively
• Accustomed to working on multiple projects with different deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable taking both individual initiative and working collaboratively
• Ability to communicate effectively and interest in engaging with diverse team members and perspectives
• Stickler for details and quality
• All applicants must be currently enrolled in, or have previously attended, a U.S. based college or university
• All applicants must be able to complete a work authorization (I-9) during onboarding
• All applicants must be able to complete the entirety of the internship program in the listed dates in the job description
