[Remote] Virtual Electrical Estimator

Treehouse is a software-enabled installation platform for electrification projects, aiming to accelerate the decarbonization of homes and workplaces. The Virtual Electrical Estimator role involves evaluating residential electrical projects remotely, creating installation plans and proposals, and ensuring projects are ready for execution by the installation team. Responsibilities Review project requests in HubSpot, including customer-submitted photos, videos, and site details and assess residential electrical setups—panels, circuits, and layouts—to determine the correct installation approach Create clear, detailed scopes of work and project proposals that give the installation team everything they need to execute without surprises Flag missing or unclear information early, coordinating with internal teams or customers to resolve it before a project moves forward Keep project records organized and up to date within HubSpot, ensuring clean handoffs and a reliable paper trail Use AI-assisted workflows and internal systems to process projects efficiently and maintain quality at volume Operate within established SLAs and contribute to a 'first-time-right' culture by minimizing errors and reducing the number of back-and-forth touches per project Skills Hands-on experience in residential electrical work (apprentice, helper, or similar - licensure NOT required) Solid understanding of panels, circuits, and basic installation practices Comfort and willingness to work on a computer for the majority of the day Tech-savviness and open to using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to work more efficiently Experience in EV charging or residential solar/electrification projects Prior experience in a remote or systems-based operations role Familiarity with structured workflows, SLAs, and/or quality control processes Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset Ability to learn and operate within CRM and workflow tools (HubSpot experience a plus) Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Unlimited paid time off Company Overview Treehouse is a software-enabled service for home electrification.
