Remote Video Editor - 50905
Turing is looking for candidates who have solid experience in film editing, video production, or post-production workflows, particularly at the level expected for experienced editors or media professionals working in creative, broadcast, or studio environments.
Role Overview:
• In this role, you will be working on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your expertise in video editing, storytelling, and post-production workflows.
• No prior AI experience is required.
• These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to enhance post-production efficiency, creative editing, and storytelling impact in media production.
What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:
• Design and solve real-world video editing and storytelling scenarios to test AI reasoning.
• Write clear, structured explanations covering editing workflows, visual continuity, and creative decision-making.
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, technical quality, and alignment with professional editing standards.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to strengthen model understanding of editing logic, narrative flow, and visual storytelling principles.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience as a Film Editor, Video Editor, or Post-Production Specialist.
• Strong understanding of editing software and workflows (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Ability to explain technical and creative editing concepts clearly and concisely.
