They are seeking a Vice President Sales-National to develop and scale a new solution area related to care gap and coding automation, responsible for the entire sales cycle and establishing a new business line.ResponsibilitiesOwn and Drive RevenueOwn the full sales cycle for the malnutrition and broader care gap and coding automation solution — from pipeline generation through contract executionBuild and manage a qualified opportunity pipeline across health system targets, hitting quarterly and annual bookings targetsConvert early market interest into signed agreements and measurable revenue with urgency and accountabilityLead the Commercial Go-to-MarketDefine and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new solution area, including target customer profile, outreach motion, and sales playbookIdentify, engage, and close net-new health system logos while driving expansion revenue within the existing customer baseBuild and own relationships with economic buyers — CFOs, CMOs, CDI and Revenue Cycle leaders — who control budget and approvalCommunicate a Compelling Value PropositionMaster and deliver the clinical and financial value narrative across malnutrition identification, MCC capture, and documentation qualityTranslate complex clinical and coding concepts into crisp, persuasive business cases that resonate with both clinical and financial stakeholdersServe as the credible external voice of the solution in customer meetings, conferences, and executive conversationsBuild the Commercial Foundation for a New Business LineEstablish the repeatable sales motion — messaging, objection handling, competitive positioning, and deal structure — that will scale beyond the first cohort of customersPartner with product, clinical, and delivery teams to ensure customer commitments are met and early wins generate strong referencesFeed market intelligence and customer insights back into solution development to sharpen positioning and close ratesShape Product DirectionTranslate real-world workflows into product requirementsPartner with data science to improve detection accuracy and signal qualityPartner with product, analytics, and delivery to refine and expand capabilitiesEnsure solutions are embedded in workflows and drive actionSkillsExperience working in a healthcare setting (e.g., clinical, quality, CDI, or related areas), with a strong understanding of inpatient workflowsDeep understanding of hospital operations across clinical and/or revenue cycle domainsFamiliarity with CDI, coding workflows, and quality measures (e.g., MCC capture)Ability to engage credibly with both clinicians and CDI / revenue cycle leadersAbility to operate in ambiguous, early-stage environmentsStrong cross-functional leadership and communication skillsBackground in one or more of: Dietitian / nutrition leadership, CDI / coding leadership, Hospital clinical operations leadershipAbility to translate clinical workflows into scalable solutionsDemonstrated ability to build, sell, or scale a new initiative in healthcare (formal or informal)BenefitsCompetitive executive-level compensation with an OTE of $400,000, and a meaningful equity participation aligned to the success of the business you buildOpen Paid Time OffPaid parental leaveProfessional developmentWellness and technology stipendsA generous employee referral bonusEmployee stock option awardsCompany OverviewQventus uses AI to intelligently automate operations across care settings and help health systems achieve the margins needed to achieve their mission of delivering exceptional care to their communities.
