[Remote] Vice President, Product Marketing

NextGen Healthcare is a leading provider of healthcare software solutions, and they are seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of product marketing initiatives. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, conducting market research, and collaborating with sales teams to enhance product positioning and drive adoption in the healthcare sector.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new products and features, working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing teamsConduct ongoing market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs; use insights to inform product development and positioningDevelop clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholdersCollaborate with sales leadership to create tools, presentations, and training materials that enable the sales team to effectively communicate product value and close dealsLeverage data to identify key customer segments and their unique needs; develop strategies to increase engagement and retention within each segmentRepresent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and through publications to build brand credibility and thought leadership in healthcare softwareBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing teamEstablish KPIs to measure the success of product marketing initiativesUnderstanding of the healthcare information technology market and the future needs of healthcare organizationsUnderstand competitive solutions, pricing, and market positioningPerform other duties that support the overall objective of the positionSkillsBachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred10+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within healthcare, SaaS, or technology sectorsProven expertise in developing go-to-market strategies and executing product launchesExperience working within organizations of comparable scale, ideally ranging from 800 million to 2 billion in annual revenue, with demonstrated success operating in complex, growth-oriented environmentsStrong understanding of healthcare software and/or healthcare systems, patient engagement solutions, and the regulatory environment in healthcare technologyDirect go-to-market experience for Electronic Health Record (EHR) and/or Practice Management (PM) solutions, with a deep understanding of the healthcare provider market, buying processes, competitive landscape, and customer needsStrong data analytics and research skills to drive informed decisions and optimize campaignsExcellent leadership, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to translate technical features into compelling, benefit-focused messagingStrategic vision to align product marketing with long-term business goals and foster collaboration across departmentsCompany OverviewNextGen Healthcare offers a range of software, services, and analytics solutions to medical and dental group practices.
