[Remote] Vice President - Operations

They are seeking an operations leader to own the operational infrastructure of the firm, which includes compliance, legal entity management, HR, technology, and corporate administration.ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of legal entities β formation, maintenance, documentation, and wind-down β across US, UK, Guernsey, and other jurisdictionsMaintain master entity spreadsheet, corporate structure charts, Deal Binders, LPAs, IMAs, and LLC operating agreementsOversee KYC documentation, FINRA filings, Form D filings, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictionsCoordinate with outside counsel on NDA, term sheet, and LFA review and executionEvaluate, implement, and manage the firm's operational technology stackIdentify opportunities to automate manual workflows and introduce scalable systems across compliance, reporting, and communicationsAdminister user accounts, licenses, and software across platforms including Salesforce, Zoom, and othersServe as internal champion for technology adoption and process improvementCoordinate with Finance and Investor Relations teams on LP onboarding, quarterly reporting, and deal management workflowsServe as an operational bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure nothing falls through the cracksSupport the Managing Directors on special projects and firm-wide initiatives as neededOwn relationships with external vendors, service providers, and outside counsel across all firm functionsManage engagement letters, billing reviews, and ongoing performance of third-party relationshipsNegotiate terms and ensure vendors are delivering value aligned with the firm's operational standardsBuild and maintain centralized internal SOPs across all operational functions as the firm continues to growIdentify process gaps and proactively implement documentation and controls that reduce operational riskEnsure the firm's operational infrastructure scales with its growth β from team size to deal volume to jurisdictional complexityOversee US and UK payroll, employee onboarding, benefits administration (TriNet, FL BCBS), and HR complianceManage vendor and service provider relationships, insurance renewals, and office administrationSkills8+ years of experience in operations within private markets β litigation finance, private credit, private equity, hedge funds, or a comparable alternative asset management environmentGenuinely process- and systems-oriented: you don't just fix problems, you build infrastructure so they don't recurA fast learner who can get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar platforms, structures, or jurisdictionsComfortable operating across a broad mandate β legal, compliance, corporate administration, HR, and technology β without needing the scope narrowed for youAn enthusiastic adopter of technology, including AI-powered tools, with a track record of bringing new systems into organizations and making them stickExceptionally organized with strong attention to detail β you catch what others miss and follow through without being askedAn independent self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and doesn't need day-to-day direction to deliver resultsDiscreet, professional, and trustworthy β you will be handling sensitive legal, compliance, and personnel information on a daily basisCompany OverviewBench Walk Advisors is a financial firm that provides capital for commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings.
