This role is responsible for driving new revenue through customer acquisition and building a scalable sales organization.ResponsibilitiesThe net-new number. Full accountability for new-logo ARR — pipeline coverage, conversion, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment across the new-business teamBuilding and scaling the org. Hiring, ramping, and developing AEs and SDRs/BDRs. Designing the team structure, territory model, and coverage that lets the business scale efficientlyThe sales motion. Defining and sharpening the new-business playbook — qualification, discovery, multi-threading, value articulation, and close. Codifying what works so it's repeatable, not heroicPipeline generation. Partnering with Marketing on demand gen and owning outbound prospecting through the SDR/BDR function. Holding the team accountable for self-sourced pipelineForecasting and rigor. Running a disciplined forecast and pipeline review cadence. Knowing the number and surfacing risk earlyComp and quota design. Building incentive plans and quotas that reward new-logo winsCross-functional partnership. Working with Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and the AM/CS leaders to ensure a clean handoff from closed-won into onboarding and long-term account growthSkillsTrack record leading new-business / new-logo sales in B2B SaaS, with quota-carrying teams reporting to themDemonstrated ability to build and scale a sales org — hiring, ramping, and developing AEsStrong command of pipeline mechanics, forecasting discipline, and sales methodologyExperience designing territories, quotas, and comp plans that scaleA coaching orientation — they make reps better and have grown ICs into top performersComfort partnering across Marketing, Product, and post-sales leadershipCompany OverviewAt nxtplay Search Group we understand the drive and determination it takes to succeed at the highest level of competition.
