The VP of Mission Critical will be responsible for building and scaling the execution capabilities across enterprise data center markets, aiming to deliver significant growth while ensuring top-notch performance in safety and margins.ResponsibilitiesBuild Keeley’s Mission Critical operations strategy, execution model, and delivery structureStand up scalable teams, processes, and field leadership to support rapid growthLead operational planning across site, civil, utility, and power scopesOversee self-perform delivery in mission critical construction environmentsDrive consistency in schedule, productivity, risk management, and margin performanceEnsure operational readiness to execute micro/edge ($5M) through mid-scale ($40M–$100M) facilitiesServe as senior Keeley representative with hyperscalers, utilities, EPCs, and key GC partnersSupport direct-to-owner expansion in the Mission Critical spaceParticipate in strategic pursuits and client planning alongside BD leadershipBuild long-term operational bench strength: PMs, superintendents, estimatorsAlign labor strategy (union/non-union) for regional competitivenessEstablish culture of safety, urgency, quality, and accountabilitySkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience20+ years' in self-perform operations and complex infrastructure deliveryDemonstrated leadership in data center, power generation, substations, transmission, or utility-scale constructionStrong leadership and management skills in directing an organization, department, or groupAdvanced with Microsoft Office SuiteCompany OverviewKeeley Construction was founded in 1976 as a family-owned paving company.
