[Remote] Vice President of Clinical Operations

They are seeking a Vice President of Clinical Operations to oversee and advance clinical services across their behavioral health and substance use disorder programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and improving outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement organization-wide clinical strategies that improve quality, outcomes, and operational performanceProvide leadership and oversight to Regional Clinical Directors and program-level clinical leadersPartner with executive leadership on program development, clinical innovation, and operational initiativesLead implementation and fidelity monitoring of evidence-based practices including ASAM criteria and trauma-informed careEnsure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards including CARF, OMHSAS, DDAP, and other licensing bodiesGuide programs through audits, licensing renewals, and corrective action processesReview and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and regulatory alignmentCollaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to establish clinical performance indicators and improvement initiativesMonitor key clinical metrics including engagement, outcomes, readmission rates, and length of stayUtilize data-driven decision making to improve program performance and clinical effectivenessSupport payer initiatives and value-based purchasing efforts tied to measurable quality outcomesMentor and develop Clinical Directors and interdisciplinary leadership teamsSupport clinical staff training, competency development, and credentialing processesFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementPartner with Operations, Finance, Business Development, and Payer Relations teams to align clinical and organizational goalsSupport implementation of new clinical programs, technology solutions, and innovative care modelsRepresent Pyramid Healthcare at conferences, regulatory meetings, and external partnershipsSkillsMaster's Degree in a behavioral health-related field required (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or related field)7–10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatmentExceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skillsStrong understanding of behavioral health and substance use treatment modalitiesAbility to analyze data and drive strategic decision-makingCommitment to ethical care, compliance, and clinical excellenceIndependent clinical licensure strongly preferred: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, PMHNP / CRNP-PMHExperience leading multi-site or multi-state clinical operations strongly preferredStrong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards including CARF, OMHSAS, DDAP, and related agenciesExperience with payer relations, outcomes measurement, and performance improvement initiatives preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsLife InsurancePaid Time Off401(k) with Company MatchTuition ReimbursementEmployee Recognition ProgramsReferral Bonus opportunitiesCompany OverviewPyramid Healthcare offers substance use, mental health, autism, eating disorder, and behavioral healthcare treatment.
