They are seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development to drive new client acquisitions and manage key relationships within their corporate investor relations production practice.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and close new business with publicly traded companies, IR agencies, and financial communications firms in need of premium production services, presentation design, web design & development, investor relations, and creative supportBuild and maintain long-term client relationships with IR officers, corporate communications leaders, and financial PR firmsDevelop compelling proposals and pitch productions tailored to the specific needs of corporate IR clientsManage the full sales lifecycle from cold outreach and prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and contract closeServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless handoff to the production teamReport on pipeline activity, revenue performance, and client retention directly to the CEOSkills10+ years of experience in a business development or sales role with a demonstrated, proven track record of success within corporate IR or financial communications productionDeep expertise in investor relations content, including earnings productions, annual reports, shareholder communications, roadshow materials, and IR event coverageEstablished relationships within the corporate IR and financial communications landscape.
