Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Vice President of Growth to lead the organization's referral development, market expansion, and strategic growth initiatives across all regions. This executive leader will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing growth function that expands access to addiction treatment services through strong referral partnerships and community engagement.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute BHG's national growth strategy focused on referral generation, market expansion, and patient accessBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with hospitals, health systems, emergency departments, behavioral health providers, criminal justice agencies, department of justice, correctional systems, social service organizations, and other strategic referral partnersIdentify, cultivate, and expand referral pathways that increase patient admissions and strengthen BHG's position within local healthcare ecosystemsLead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Outreach Managers and growth professionals across multiple markets and statesEstablish growth objectives, referral targets, KPIs, and accountability measures that align with organizational goalsPartner closely with operations, clinical leadership, and executive leadership to ensure growth strategies support patient access, capacity planning, and organizational prioritiesCreate scalable outreach processes, referral management practices, and partnership development programs that can be replicated across all marketsAnalyze referral trends, conversion rates, market penetration, and growth opportunities to inform strategic decision-makingUtilize CRM systems and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvementLead negotiations and partnership discussions with key healthcare and community stakeholdersRepresent BHG at healthcare conferences, industry associations, community events, and professional organizationsServe as a subject matter expert on addiction treatment, recovery resources, and referral best practicesFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and results across the growth organizationSkillsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Marketing, or related field preferred10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare business development, growth, provider relations, referral development, behavioral health, or related healthcare servicesProven track record of building referral networks and driving measurable patient growth through hospitals, health systems, emergency departments, criminal justice systems, department of justice, behavioral health organizations, and community partnersDemonstrated experience developing and executing multi-market growth strategies within healthcare services organizationsExperience building, leading, and scaling high-performing business development, outreach, or growth teamsStrong analytical capabilities with experience managing KPIs, forecasting growth opportunities, and utilizing data to drive decision-makingExperience implementing and optimizing CRM systems, referral tracking processes, and performance management frameworksExceptional executive presence, relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skillsPassion for improving access to evidence-based addiction treatment and recovery servicesAbility to travel regularly within assigned regions and nationally as neededMaster's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Marketing, or related fieldStrong existing relationships within healthcare provider networks, hospital systems, emergency medicine, behavioral health, and community-based referral ecosystemsCompany OverviewBehavioral Health Group (BHG) is the largest network of Joint Commission-accredited outpatient opioid treatment and recovery centers in the U.S., delivering comprehensive, personalized evidence-based medical and behavioral therapies for individuals with opioid use disorder.
