[Remote] Vice President, Development and Revenue Operations

Argentum is the leading national association advancing the senior living industry, seeking a dynamic Vice President of Development & Revenue Operations to lead and grow their revenue strategy. This role focuses on building, scaling, and innovating across multiple revenue streams while collaborating with senior leadership to expand Argentum's impact nationwide.ResponsibilitiesLead all revenue-generating functions, including membership growth, sponsorships, advertising, and non-dues revenue programsDevelop and execute a bold fundraising strategy supporting Argentum’s policy, advocacy, and workforce development prioritiesOversee key fundraising efforts, including the Advocacy Fund and Silver PAC, with ambitious annual goals and year-round engagement strategiesIdentify and grow new revenue streams, including innovative programmatic and partnership opportunitiesCultivate and steward relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and major donorsDevelop strategies for major gifts and multi-year commitmentsPartner with the CEO and Board to expand engagement and strengthen donor pipelinesDrive strategies to grow and retain membership, while expanding sponsorship and business development opportunitiesCollaborate across teams to align revenue-generating opportunities with events, education, credentialing, communications, and signature programsLeverage market insights and industry trends to strengthen Argentum’s value propositionLead fundraising strategy for a new workforce development initiative focused on training, career advancement, and public awareness in senior livingHelp shape innovative approaches to mission-aligned revenue growth that support Argentum’s long-term strategic prioritiesManage and inspire a high-performing, collaborative teamPartner cross-functionally to align revenue efforts with policy, communications, events, and strategic prioritiesServe as a trusted advisor to the CEO on revenue growth, fundraising strategy, and partner engagementSkills10+ years of experience in nonprofit development, membership, or business developmentA track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts and building diversified revenue streamsExperience managing budgets, forecasts, and revenue targetsExceptional communication, networking, and leadership skillsA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of seniorityPassion for Argentum's mission and the future of the senior living industryProficiency with Microsoft Office or similar toolsKnowledge of advocacy fundraising, FEC reporting requirements, and PAC-related lawsBenefitsRemote-first team with limited in-person meetingsCollaborative, mission-driven cultureCompany OverviewArgentum is the national trade association serving companies that own, operate, and support professionally managed senior living communities It was founded in 1990, and is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
