[Remote] Vice President - Business Development, North America
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Energy Dome is seeking a VP of Business Development to lead their North American commercial growth strategy. This pivotal leadership position involves managing a team, executing a business development strategy, and driving revenue-generating initiatives across the region.ResponsibilitiesLeading and managing the Business Development team, including direct reports such as Business Development DirectorsBuilding and executing a comprehensive business development strategy for North AmericaIdentifying, qualifying, and closing major commercial opportunities across the portfolioManaging complex project pipelines from initial prospecting through Ready-to-Build (RTB)Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and customersRepresenting Energy Dome at industry events and with C-suite clientsTraveling frequently to Boston and Boulder, as well as throughout North AmericaSkillsProven track record (>15 years) as a top-performing salesperson with success in closing enterprise-scale dealsDemonstrated experience scaling business development functions within high-growth organizationsExperience managing complex, multi-year infrastructure or energy projects from concept to revenue (RTB equivalent)Track record successfully managing $billions in project value from a commercial standpointStrong technical acumen—ability to understand and communicate sophisticated technology and engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExceptional ability to recruit, develop, and lead senior-level business development professionalsDemonstrated excellence in project coordination and organizational managementStrong strategic thinking and ability to build long-term business pipelinesWillingness and ability to travel frequently; flexibility regarding location (Boston and/or Boulder)Background in energy, infrastructure, or cleantech sectorsExperience with energy storage, grid services, or related technologiesExisting relationships within the North American energy industryBenefitsAnnual Bonus: 20% Management by Objectives (MBO)Equity: Stock options commensurate with role and experienceAdditional benefits package to be discussed during interview process.Company OverviewEnergy Dome develops and deploys long-duration energy storage systems based on a proprietary CO₂-based technology.
