They are seeking a Veterinary Recruiter to cultivate relationships with veterinarians, manage recruitment processes, and enhance the company's brand within the veterinary community.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of veterinary candidates, keeping detailed record of interactions and progress to ensure smooth onboarding experienceSource and engage veterinarians to join WVP practices utilizing various channels, including networking, job boards, social media, and industry events to attract top veterinary talentEnsure workflows and processes related to veterinary recruitment are documented and managed within the applicant tracking system and various reporting toolsStay up to date on trends within the veterinary industry and within the veterinary job marketPartner with relevant cross-functional teams to strengthen brand presence within the veterinary communityTravel to assist with DVM candidate practice visits when neededSupport and implement employee engagement activities (welcoming new team members, tracking promotions/employee referrals, and acknowledging work anniversaries)Oversee new hire onboarding for DVM positions including drafting offer letters, new hire paperwork, and being the point of contactProvide leadership and advice to hiring managers and interview teamsSkillsMust have Veterinary Recruiting ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration or similar5+ years of Recruiting experience with a longer-cycle relationship focused candidate poolEffective, clear, and persuasive oral and written communication skillsTalent and experience with negotiations and networkingStrong interpersonal skills, highly organized, accurate, thorough; ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the companyDemonstrates a 'whatever it takes' attitude; must possess the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentSelf-directed, highly organized and can easily navigate ambiguity and create orderExperience with a multi-state, multi-entity, private equity, growth organization strongly preferredBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision benefitsVacationSick leave401(k)Paid sick leave, health emergency leave, and similar benefits programs, all in accordance with the requirements of state and local law depending on the location of the practice you supportCompany OverviewWestern Veterinary Partners is a people-centric veterinary support organization that partners with veterinarians across the United States.
