The role involves engaging with multiple internal teams to optimize product lines for key manufacturers and managing customer relationships with vendors to drive performance and growth.ResponsibilitiesSuccess will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience for buying consumersPartnering with the Retail Category Team and managing the vendor relationship by championing the vendor’s needs at AmazonBuild communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendorsBuild and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and AmazonWork with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experienceConduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the vendors and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experienceProvide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and executionEstablish long term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handledSupport the launches of new programs, categories and featuresConduct regular WBR, MBRs with the vendors highlight business metric performance and building action plansSkillsExperience in business analysis and functional roles requiring quantitative, analytical and organizational skillsPassion for e-commerce with a strong understanding of the industryProficiency in Arabic (C1/C2 certified, preferred)2+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Sales, Account Management, or Business Development (B2B preferred); exposure to retail buying, planning, marketing, or e-commerce is a plusExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with logical, succinct communicationActive listening, consultative, and solutions-oriented approachAbility to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with full ownership of outcomesStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projectsBachelor's degree, or experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniquesAssociate's degree or above, or Master of Business AdministrationCompany OverviewAmazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
