[Remote] UX Designer

The role involves partnering with clients to understand UX problems, participating in the design process, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients and colleagues to understand UX problems and define solutions that balance business objectives, user needs, and technical restraintsContribute throughout the UX design process by participating in research, understanding current state, helping to identify use cases and requirements, brainstorming solutions, developing designs of increasing fidelity, and supporting development teamsHelp plan and execute conceptual testing and usability testing to inform design and drive team alignmentDevelop and communicate standard UI patternsIllustrate user experience concepts (experience models, personas, user flows, site maps, storyboards, and prototypes, etc.)Contribute and adhere to visual and branding standards (fonts, colors, imagery, iconography, etc.)Prepare and present solutions to internal teams and key stakeholdersSkills1+ years' experience in a client-facing, UX Designer or Information Architect role1+ years' experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests neededBachelor's degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent real-world experience1+ years' experience in one or more of the following: common design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, etc.), and collaboration tools (Abstract, Sharepoint, etc.)Must reside in the USOnline portfolio or samples of work demonstrating solid experience designing responsive web and mobile applicationsBasic understanding of UX best practices across User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, User Interface DesignFamiliarity with deliverables such as user research analysis, use cases and scenarios, flows, detailed designs, annotations, and design systemsThe ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX workExperience with activities such as user research, identifying user needs, developing design concepts, design thinking, and development supportExperience creating highly detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applicationsAbility to produce intuitive, user-centered designs across multiple channels and devicesAbility to partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback and technical constraintsAbility to deliver against several initiatives simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when neededStrong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)BenefitsCompany benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contributionFlexible spending or health savings accountLife and AD&D insuranceShort and long term disability coveragePaid time offEmployee assistanceParticipation in a 401k program with company matchAdditional voluntary or legally-required benefitsCompany OverviewNTT DATA, Inc. is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
