[Remote] UX Designer

The UX Designer role involves creating intuitive websites and user experiences that align with customer needs and business objectives.ResponsibilitiesConduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics)Develop user personas, journey maps, and experience flowsIdentify usability issues and opportunities based on user insights and dataCreate wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models at varying fidelity levelsDesign end‑to‑end user experiences for new features and existing workflowsEstablish and refine information architecture and navigation modelsEnsure designs align with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and inclusive design principlesCollaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams throughout the design lifecycleTranslate requirements into clear, developer‑ready design specificationsParticipate in design reviews, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder presentationsSupport implementation and validate designs through post‑release testingContribute to and maintain design systems, patterns, and UI guidelinesEnsure consistency across products and platformsAdvocate for UX best practices across teamsUse browser developer tools to inspect, troubleshoot, and correct UI issuesReview and modify HTML/CSS provided by developers to ensure accuracy with design specificationsDemonstrate a mindset that bridges both design and development, balancing user experience understanding with technical know-howSkills3 + years of professional UX design and front-end development experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating user‑centered design thinking and problem solvingProficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)Experience designing responsive web applications and/or mobile experiencesUnderstanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practicesStrong communication and collaboration skillsUndergraduate degree in UX Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Familiar with UX industry standards and trendsFamiliarity with usability testing tools and analytics platformsExperience designing for enterprise, regulated, or data‑heavy applicationExperience with Visual Studio, VS Code, and Git is a plusExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience using Agile project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps or Jira)BenefitsComprehensive benefits package including Medical / RX / Dental / Vision / Life insurance401k Plan with company matchPaid Time Off andCompany Paid HolidaysFree employee parkingCasual dress environmentTuition reimbursement planCompany OverviewIMG, a SiriusPoint company, is an award-winning global insurance benefits and assistance services company that has served millions of members worldwide since its founding in 1990.
