[Remote] Utility Project Manager

KGDR Consultants Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in utility development to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of transmission, distribution, and substation projects. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end project delivery while coordinating with various teams to ensure compliance with utility standards and successful project completion.ResponsibilitiesManage end to end project delivery across utility development projects including transmission, distribution, substation, renewable energy, and grid modernizationLead project planning, scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and risk managementCoordinate with engineering, construction, permitting, environmental, real estate, and field teams to ensure all project milestones are metReview design packages, construction drawings, outage plans, and technical submittalsTrack project progress through schedules, cost reports, and status dashboardsOversee contractor performance, change orders, invoices, and procurement of materialsFacilitate project meetings and communication between internal teams, clients, and external agenciesEnsure compliance with utility standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelinesIdentify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as neededSupport forecasting, reporting, and project closeout documentationSkillsBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field10+ years of project management experience in utilities, energy, or infrastructureStrong understanding of utility design, construction sequencing, and permitting processesProficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalentExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload in a fast paced environmentPMP certification is preferred but not requiredExperience coordinating outages or working with transmission and distribution systems is a plusFamiliarity with utility standards and processes such as QAQC, commissioning, and energizationStrong problem solving ability, attention to detail, and financial acumenCompany OverviewKGDR Consultants Inc.
