GovCIO is currently hiring for a User Experience (UX) Analyst to support a portfolio of VA digital health products, focusing on telehealth. The role involves executing user-centered design and validation activities in collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance usability and workflow alignment for Veterans and clinical users.ResponsibilitiesSupport UX execution for an assigned product portfolio, partnering with PMs, UI Designers, SMEs, and stakeholdersDevelop task-based UAT scenarios and success criteria aligned to user workflows and release objectivesSupport and facilitate UAT sessions, including preparation, observation, synthesis of findings, and recommendationsConduct or support lightweight user touchpoints such as usability sessions, feedback reviews, and validation activitiesTranslate user insights and UX guidance into product-specific flows, interactions, and recommendationsPartner with UI Designers to ensure designs align with user needs, workflows, and usability best practicesSupport iterative improvements based on user feedback, UAT findings, HCD input, and stakeholder feedbackSupport UX and usability improvements for telehealth and virtual care workflows, informed by operational context and end-user feedbackIdentify and escalate usability risks, insights, and opportunities to PMs and the UX LeadParticipate in accessibility and usability forums supporting continuous product improvementContribute to product recommendations that improve user adoption, workflow fit, and experience qualitySkillsBachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or commensurate experience3–6 years of relevant UX, usability, product design, or related experienceExperience supporting usability evaluations, task-based testing, or user-centered product validationExperience collaborating with product managers, designers, and developersUnderstanding of user-centered design principles and workflow-based design thinkingStrong written, analytical, facilitation, and communication skillsExperience supporting healthcare, telehealth, or government digital productsExperience supporting UAT planning or facilitationExperience with wireframes, prototypes, or interaction design artifactsFamiliarity with accessibility principles and inclusive designExperience working within Agile product teamsKnowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare operational processes preferredExperience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or familiarity with VA systems preferredExperience with VA Telehealth operations, workflows, and tools (including virtual care platforms) strongly desiredCompany OverviewGovCIO is a business consulting firm that focuses on cyber security, digital, data, management and mission services, and IT services.
