Dahl Consulting is partnering with a leading national retail organization to hire a User Experience (UX) Designer to support digital product innovation. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, end-to-end user experiences within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform complex ideas into intuitive solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end UX design for product features and initiatives, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypesTranslate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into effective and scalable design solutionsDeliver production-ready design specifications to support engineering implementationEnsure alignment with established design systems and UX patternsDesign intuitive interaction patterns and develop clear information architecture for multi-step user experiencesLeverage journey mapping and systems thinking to create cohesive, end-to-end experiencesApply accessibility and inclusive design principles in all workCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile environmentParticipate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design reviewsClearly communicate design decisions using user insights, data, and business rationaleHelp define and structure ambiguous problems into actionable design approachesPrioritize design work based on user impact, business value, and feasibilityContinuously improve design quality through feedback, iteration, and team collaborationContribute to UX best practices and provide informal mentorship to junior designers as neededSkillsStrong proficiency in Figma for end-to-end product design, including wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypesProven experience delivering end-to-end UX design for product features or workflowsExperience with Agile methodology and working within cross-functional teamsStrong skills in interaction design for multi-step user flows and feature-level experiencesExperience creating user journeys, journey maps, flows, and information architectureAbility to produce high-fidelity designs and production-ready specifications for engineering handoffHands-on experience with prototyping for concept validationExperience conducting or supporting user testing and applying insights to design improvementsFamiliarity with product design principles and scalable design systemsExposure to AI-driven design considerations or tools within digital productsExperience using Jira or similar project management toolsPrior experience working in large-scale retail, e-commerce, or consumer-facing digital environmentsDemonstrated ability to mentor or guide less experienced designersStrong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practicesBenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
