[Remote] User Experience Designer

Insight Global is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a short-term project focused on redesigning and enhancing an existing website for a solar and HVAC company. The role involves improving the site's visual design, user experience, and overall performance to better reflect the company's brand and drive customer engagement.ResponsibilitiesConduct a full UX audit of the current website to identify usability issues, gaps in messaging, and opportunities to improve conversions and engagementRedesign and enhance site layout, navigation, and content structure to create a more intuitive and visually appealing experienceCollaborate with internal stakeholders to align on branding, messaging, and user experience goalsCreate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize improved user flows and layoutsImprove overall site performance by optimizing user journeys, interaction design, and page structureDesign and implement new UI components within the existing WordPress site while maintaining brand consistencyRefine content presentation and messaging to more effectively communicate services and support business growthEnsure the website is responsive, mobile-friendly, and accessible across all devicesPartner closely with developers or work within WordPress tools to implement design updatesAnalyze user behavior and feedback to continuously improve the user experience and site effectivenessIterate on design solutions based on feedback, testing, and performance insights to increase conversionsSkills5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio of website redesign workProven experience designing for construction, solar, HVAC, or similar service-based industriesExperience optimizing and enhancing existing websites within WordPress environmentsProficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design toolsStrong understanding of UX principles, user flows, and information architectureExperience improving website performance, user experience, and conversion ratesHands-on experience with CRO strategies, A/B testing, and data-driven design improvementsWorking knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end principlesUnderstanding of SEO best practices and how UX/UI impacts search performanceStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders and developerCompany OverviewInsight Global provides top talent and staffing solutions that help job seekers find careers in healthcare, finance, IT, and government.
