They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to support a Senior Sales Executive by managing interactions with prospective customers in the healthcare industry and facilitating new business opportunities through scheduling meetings and calls.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong content knowledge of the healthcare industryResearch potential prospectsCreate a strategic outreach plan with Vice President of Sales to target prospective customersCold call and email to schedule meetings and conference callsIdentify and target prospective ED Medical Directors, CMOs, and other healthcare executives through strategic planning and executionCommunicate with prospective customers including chief health care executives using creative outreach methods via email and phoneAchieve weekly, monthly and quarterly goals through scheduling of meetings and appointments for Vice President of Sales with prospective customersPrepare background material and market research in preparation for all sales meetings and appointmentsManage post-sales meeting follow up such as scheduling follow up calls and assisting with the new customer sales processMaintain internal database to track key performance metrics and sales and marketing activitiesOwn calendaring, logistics and administrative responsibilities for all pieces of the sales process for the Vice President of SalesManage special projects as necessarySkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceCustomer service experienceExperience working in a team environmentSales or fundraising experienceStrong communication skillsProven ability to meet and exceed goalsAbility to communicate by e-mail and phoneAbility to overcome challenges or obstacles in the momentAttention to detailBenefitsYou will receive another 4% per hour in lieu of these benefits.Company OverviewPointClickCare develops web-based products and services to help long-term care providers manage the complete lifecycle of resident care.
