[Remote] US Regional Account Manager

The US Regional Account Manager will manage client relations in the Southern region, develop sales strategies, and maintain long-term customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the rest of the sales team to focus on areas of growth and key clientsDevelop sales strategy for identified accounts to generate new business and increase revenuesDevelop and maintain long-term customer relationshipsDevelop and maintain contact with key decision-makers within the customer base, including management representatives, engineers, drilling superintendents or other personnel within the customer’s organizationReview project information and customer equipment configuration to recommend optimum tooling solutionsMaintain knowledge of current and new products through interaction with engineering, guidance service and operations personnelPrepare sales or service presentations or contracts for products or servicesPrepare quotes and sales orders for processing by operations personnelProvide technical information and training to clients as requiredProvide market analysis on opportunities for growth with new clients, product lines, and partnershipsAttend trade shows and conferences as Inrocks representativePrepare sales reporting and/or call reports as required to indicate sales activity and historical dataMonitor and report HDD drilling activity in the regionProvide input as to changing market conditions so as to assist with input in marketing strategyTravel within assigned region on a regular basis to meet customers and visit customer projectsEstablish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are metSkillsMinimum of 5 years' experience in the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) industryBenefitsCompetitive compensation and bonus opportunitiesMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Parental leaveLegal support optionsCompany OverviewSandvik is an engineering group with products that enhance customer productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
