[Remote] US Premium Finance Loan Activation Specialist

The Loan Activation Specialist will gather and review loan documentation to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, while communicating with various stakeholders and providing support to the team.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes incoming loan documentation to ensure satisfaction of company underwriting guidelinesObtains and/or provides any missing information to complete required file documentationMeets processing time frames (within 48 hours of receiving signed PFA)Works across departmental lines to handle requests from clients and carriers for policy changes and underwriting informationCommunicates any necessary exceptions/incomplete files to credit department for reviewActivates loans in FinanceProPrepares summary of daily fundings for review by quality control departmentMaintains open communication with team members and operations managersAttends and participates in all required processing training and meetingsProvides a high level of processing support to inexperienced Loan Activation Specialists requiring additional assistance on high volume of complex filesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedSkillsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAbility to build positive working relationships, interact effectively and proactively with individuals at all levels in the organizationMust be a quick learnerMust have experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to prioritizeAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerAbility to demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and qualityStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently2 years of experience in document processing roleDemonstrated success working in and supporting clients in a fast-paced environmentMust have demonstrated PC proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordCollege degree requiredPremium finance and/or commercial P&C experience preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceAmeris Bank absorbs a major portion of the cost of healthcare.
