[Remote] US Payroll Consultant (Contract)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Silver Cloud is looking for an experienced US Dayforce Payroll Consultant to support the final stages of a large-scale US Dayforce Payroll & Benefits implementation. The role involves hands-on contract work focused on parallel testing, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring accurate payroll processing across all 49 US states.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead and support payroll parallel testing activities
ā¢ Validate Dayforce payroll calculations against legacy systems
ā¢ Investigate and resolve payroll variances and discrepancies
ā¢ Execute real-life payroll scenarios during UAT and Day-in-the-Life testing
ā¢ Act as the subject matter expert for US payroll throughout testing and go-live
ā¢ Support payroll issue resolution and provide expert guidance to project teams
ā¢ Ensure payroll compliance across federal, state and local tax jurisdictions
ā¢ Support payroll cutover and go-live readiness activities
ā¢ Validate live payroll processing and payroll outputs
ā¢ Provide post-go-live hypercare support
ā¢ Assist with payroll stabilisation and knowledge transfer activities
ā¢ Validate benefit deductions and employer contributions
ā¢ Support payroll and benefits integration testing
ā¢ Collaborate with technical teams on carrier feeds and benefit exports
Skills
ā¢ Proven experience supporting US Dayforce Payroll implementations
ā¢ Strong experience with parallel payroll testing, go-live and hypercare
ā¢ Deep understanding of US payroll legislation and compliance
ā¢ Experience supporting payroll across multiple states
ā¢ Ability to analyse payroll results and troubleshoot complex payroll issues
ā¢ Comfortable operating as the Payroll SME within a project environment
ā¢ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
ā¢ Able to work flexibly around US payroll cycles and business hours
ā¢ Dayforce Payroll certification
ā¢ APA Certification
ā¢ Benefits implementation experience
ā¢ Experience supporting large-scale, multi-state payroll transformations
