They are seeking a UI/UX Design Lead who will be responsible for leading a team in designing compelling user experiences and interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating user research into effective design solutions.ResponsibilitiesMay supervise a team of UI/UX researchers, designers, and writersEvaluates user requirements by collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams, and applies high quality, research-driven solutions in alignment with business goals and objectivesPerforms usability assessments of Motion websites, assist with user research discussions, and the cultivation and use of this informationTranslates complex user research findings, analytics data, and customer feedback into elegant, intuitive, and effective design solutionsDesigns and develops engaging user experiences for a variety of applicationsIllustrates design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps independentlyMakes strategic and tactical UX decisions related to design and usability as well as content and researchConducts regular design reviews with both design and development teams, providing actionable feedback to ensure all work meets business requirements, user needs, and the established quality barDemonstrated ability to produce a full range of design artifacts, including low-fidelity wireframes, visually polished high-fidelity mockups, and complex interactive prototypes that effectively simulate the final user experiencePartner with marketing and analytics teams to understand user behavior data from various channels, help devise and interpret A/B tests and ensure a consistent brand message and user experience across all customer touchpointsStudies and evaluates how users feel about a system, looking at concepts such as ease of use, perception of the value of the system, utility, efficiency in performing tasks, etcTranslates user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiencesLeads the collection of user feedbackMentors lower-level UI/UX employeesPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsTypically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combinationA deep and applied understanding of core user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design patterns, visual design theory (typography, color, layout), and usability heuristicsStrong understanding of responsive design practices and principlesExperience leading design reviews, providing constructive, creative feedback and able to articulate ideas in an actionable, approachable mannerExperience using project management toolsExpertise in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
