The TV Multi-Media Journalist is responsible for producing multimedia content, conducting interviews, and representing the station at community events.ResponsibilitiesCreates multimedia content for multi-platform distribution (TV & digital)Shoots, writes, and edits daily storiesCoordinates, organizes and conducts interviewsDevelops and maintains a network of contacts providing access to exclusive storiesAssists producers in establishing sources, finding and executing enterprise news investigations, building and maintaining a strong list of story ideasWorks directly with Assignments Editor on daily story gathering and creationConducts on site live shots for daily news broadcasts and breaking news coverageRepresents the station in community related eventsSkillsBachelor's degree in communication, journalism, or related fieldMust be fluent in Spanish (high level of reading, writing, and speaking the language is essential)Must have strong English, reading, writing and speaking skillsReporting, shooting, writing, and editing experience with a good ratings track recordBe informed on news events locally and nationallyKnowledge of INews and Adobe Premiere editing software preferredCompany OverviewEntravision is a media and advertising technology company.
