[Remote] Travel MEP Project Manager - Mission Critical

This role is responsible for managing all MEP scopes from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover, ensuring coordination, cost control, and technical execution across highly complex systems.ResponsibilitiesManage full lifecycle of MEP scopes including budgeting, procurement, execution, commissioning, and closeoutOversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls subcontractors, ensuring alignment with contract, schedule, and project goalsLead coordination between design teams, field teams, and subcontractors to resolve clashes and maintain constructabilityDevelop and track MEP budgets, change orders, and cost forecasts with a strong focus on cost controlPartner with field leadership to ensure installation aligns with design intent, sequencing, and project scheduleDrive procurement of long lead MEP equipment including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, chillers, and air handling systemsManage submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation specific to MEP scopesCoordinate commissioning activities including pre functional testing, system startups, and integration with commissioning agentsInterface directly with clients, engineers, and third party consultants on technical and schedule related mattersSupport project scheduling efforts, including development of detailed MEP sequences and milestone trackingEnsure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and mission critical performance expectationsLead project closeout including turnover documentation, as builts, and system training for ownersSkills5+ years of construction experience with a focus on MEP systems3+ years of experience in a Project Manager or MEP focused roleExperience managing MEP scopes on data center or mission critical projectsStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, power distribution, and critical infrastructureExperience with procurement and management of major MEP equipmentAbility to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors across complex buildsExperience coordinating with commissioning teams and understanding system startup processesBenefitsCompetitive base salaryBonus potential tied to project performanceTravel support including per diem, housing, and flights where applicableMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPTO and paid holidaysExposure to large scale, high profile mission critical projectsLong term career growth within a rapidly expanding sectorCompany OverviewScott Humphrey empowers companies and people by redefining recruitment.
