[Remote] Training Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BRMi is seeking a Training Specialist to support a Human Risk Management program focused on improving cybersecurity awareness and reducing employee-driven security risks. The role involves assessing existing training content, developing engaging learning experiences, and measuring training effectiveness through data-driven analysis.ResponsibilitiesReview and evaluate existing security awareness and training contentAudit vendor-provided materials and map content to target audiences and business objectivesIdentify gaps in current learning programs and recommend improvementsAlign training initiatives with organizational risk management goals and desired employee behaviorsDevelop comprehensive training roadmaps and implementation plansCreate engaging training modules, simulations, and learning materialsApply adult learning principles and behavior change methodologies to course designCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure training content supports business and security objectivesCoordinate and deliver training programs across multiple audiencesFacilitate workshops, presentations, and virtual learning sessionsManage training schedules, communications, and participant engagement activitiesSupport rollout logistics and stakeholder coordination throughout implementationEstablish baseline metrics and success criteria for training initiativesDesign and administer surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanismsAnalyze results to measure behavior change, engagement, and program effectivenessProvide recommendations for continuous improvement based on data and performance outcomesTrack trends and report on training impact to leadership and key stakeholdersPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Factors, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field3+ years of experience developing and delivering training programsExperience in cybersecurity awareness, human risk management, behavior change, or security culture initiativesStrong background in instructional design and adult learning methodologiesExperience creating learning content using modern training development toolsAbility to align training programs with business objectives and measurable outcomesExperience designing surveys, assessments, and program effectiveness measurementsStrong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience supporting enterprise cybersecurity awareness programsKnowledge of human risk management frameworks and security behavior principlesFamiliarity with phishing simulations, security culture assessments, and behavior analyticsExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Certifications such as CPTD, ATD, CISSP, Security+, or related credentialsExperience working with third-party training vendors and content providersBenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployer-Paid Life InsuranceEmployer-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO) that includes Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, and 11 Paid HolidaysEducational AssistanceCan be 100% remote in TX, VA, MD, DC, or FLThis is a W2 opportunity onlyCompany OverviewBattle Resource Management, Inc. is a professional services, technology and change management consulting firm.
