[Remote] Territory Sales Manager-New York area

MEDCO is a leading U.S. distributor of PBE supply and mechanical tools & equipment, serving both traditional wholesalers and mobile tool dealers. The Territory Sales Manager will focus on managing and growing sales within the assigned territory by building customer relationships, conducting sales calls, and providing product training.ResponsibilitiesManaging and growing sales within the assigned territory by visiting existing customers and prospecting new accountsPromoting MEDCO’s product lines and building long-term customer relationshipsUnderstanding client needs and presenting appropriate product and service solutionsConducting sales calls and in-person meetings, preparing quotes, and negotiating pricing within guidelinesTracking opportunities through the sales pipeline and reporting on territory performanceProviding product training and demonstrations, collaborating with internal teams on inventory and order fulfillmentMonitoring market trends and competitor activities to inform territory strategiesTraveling within the New York area and participating in trade shows or customer eventsSkillsStrong Sales skills, including prospecting, territory management, and closing new businessExcellent Communication skills for presenting, negotiating, and building relationships with diverse customer stakeholdersCustomer Service orientation with a focus on responsiveness, follow-up, and long-term account supportSales Management and Training abilities to manage a sales pipeline, forecast results, and provide product or process training to customers and partnersAbility to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and travel regularly within the New York territoryProficiency with CRM systems, basic data analysis, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, email platforms)Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experienceValid driver's license and acceptable driving record for regular customer visits and regional travelExperience in tools, equipment, automotive, industrial, or related distribution industriesCompany OverviewMEDCO is a wholesaler of automotive aftermarket tools and supplies.
