[Remote] Territory Sales Manager

The role involves planning and implementing outreach efforts to educate healthcare providers about their services, growing the brand in the assigned territory, and achieving sales targets while adhering to company standards.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for planning and implementing daily face-to-face interaction with doctors and staff members to educate on all services of the Company with the goal of increasing appropriate referralsRequired to thoroughly research physicians and their practices to understand patient demographics and find opportunities to serve their patientsDemonstrate significant product and disease state knowledge to effectively communicate with customersDemonstrate the ability to gather feedback from physician customers and relay that feedback to appropriate Company stakeholders for product developmentResponsible for reporting on all activity through the appropriate CRM systemAchieve and/or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales goalsMaster medical terminology, sales practices and business acumen to conduct meetings with physiciansStay current with Company communications through the use of technology which includes email, voicemail, texts, conference calls and meetingsDemonstrate knowledge of compliance culture and ask for guidance when neededCommunicate any specific issues related to patient records or other deficiencies from the physicians office to arrange testing for patientsCommunicate any issues with scheduling patients to the physician, including confirmation of any cancellations or refusal of serviceFunction as the physicians main point of contact with Company for all administrative, contractual or patient related mattersManage allocated budget appropriately and follow Company policy on all expenses and reportingCommunicate frequently and demonstrate a team atmosphere with clinical Operations staffBuild brand recognition and enhance the reputation of the CompanyAdhere to HIPAA regulations, Company Confidentiality and Code of ConductPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree or applicable experience should be in a related field such as Marketing, Sales, general business administration, or a related health sciences fieldExperience partnering with hospitals and Neurology practices5+ years of sales/new business development in a hospital/clinic environment preferredPossess a good network of physician and hospital relationships, particularly in the field of neurologyAbility to communicate with and educate high level executives, physicians, administrators and other healthcare professionalsProven track record of managing client relationships and building professional relationshipsFamiliarity with the payor/insurance environment including CPT codes, insurance billing, etcAbility to work comfortably with all levels of the complex physician office and/or hospital environment and have experience of the technical, clinical and financial sellAbility to travel out of the territory for: one week in-person sales training and twice per year to attend national sales training (3-4 days) and regional strategy meetings (3-4 days)Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervisionCurrent driver license with proof of valid automobile insurance and safe driving recordAbility to sit for extended periods of timeFrequent walking and standingAbility to lift up to 20 poundsTalking and hearingReaching with hands and armsFrequent use of fingers and handsClarity of vision – both near and farAbility to travel via automobile and/or airplaneCompany OverviewStratus's goal is to innovate the delivery of healthcare services to patients by providing convenient, and affordable diagnostic services.
