ALEX - Alternative Experts is seeking a Terminologist to support the standardization, consistency, and management of terminology across technical and analytical documentation. This role ensures alignment of terminology within structured documents and contributes to the accuracy and clarity of content across multiple deliverables.ResponsibilitiesReview and ensure consistency of terminology across multiple documents, publications, and data sourcesSupport the standardization and proper usage of terminology within technical and analytical contentVerify alignment of terminology with approved reference sources and established standardsAssist in updating terminology based on approved changes and maintaining accuracy across documentsEnsure consistency of data and terminology between related documents and supporting materialsCollaborate with analysts, editors, and stakeholders to resolve terminology discrepanciesSupport document development and publication processes by applying consistent terminology standardsUtilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to manage and review contentMaintain accuracy, organization, and version control of terminology-related data and documentationSkillsReview and ensure consistency of terminology across multiple documents, publications, and data sourcesSupport the standardization and proper usage of terminology within technical and analytical contentVerify alignment of terminology with approved reference sources and established standardsAssist in updating terminology based on approved changes and maintaining accuracy across documentsEnsure consistency of data and terminology between related documents and supporting materialsCollaborate with analysts, editors, and stakeholders to resolve terminology discrepanciesSupport document development and publication processes by applying consistent terminology standardsUtilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to manage and review contentMaintain accuracy, organization, and version control of terminology-related data and documentationCandidates must demonstrate experience in two (2) or more of the following areas: Familiarity with structured terminology sources and processes for managing and updating approved termsExperience supporting documentation development, review, or publishing processesEnsuring consistency of data and terminology across multiple documentsExperience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for document and data managementSupporting quality control or document standardization effortsAssociate degree or equivalent in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; OR No degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceU.S. Citizenship Required due to federal contract.
