We are seeking a skilled Credit Balance Representative to support a team of analysts!
Pay: $16-$17/hour, depending on experience

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT: MUST HAVE ACCESS TO LAPTOP AND MONITORS!
Minimum Requirements
ā¢ High School diploma or GED required
ā¢ 1-2 years of experience in hospital billing experience
ā¢ Strong background in credit balance resolution with insurance experience
ā¢ Familiarity with hospital billing systems and EHR platforms; Epic experience preferred.
ā¢ Advanced Excel skills
ā¢ Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Investigate aged credit balance accounts for potential refund action.
ā¢ Collaborate with internal analysts to interpret findings and determine appropriate refund resolution.
ā¢ Process and document approved refunds for commercial and other non-governmental payors.
ā¢ Reconcile discrepancies between audit findings and internal records, escalating as appropriate.
ā¢ Communicate with internal departments to resolve account issues and confirm remittance accuracy.
