Remote Telemedicine Veterinarian

Role Overview: We’re looking for experienced, compassionate veterinarians to join our telemedicine team. You’ll conduct short virtual appointments (about 10 minutes each), answer pet parents’ questions, and send prescriptions when appropriate. Our platform integrates with Zoom and Calendly, and we make sure you’re paid promptly — every day by 11:59 PM PST (including for documented no-shows). What You’ll Do: • Conduct virtual consultations for dogs, cats, and (optionally) chickens. • Listen to pet parents’ concerns, ask targeted questions, and offer clear, actionable advice. • Write prescriptions through our 1800PetMeds partnership when indicated. • Maintain concise, professional SOAP notes in our VetLog EMR (or use your own preferred style). • Provide an empathetic, supportive experience that helps pet parents feel heard and confident. What We’re Looking For: • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) with active license(s) in one or more US states. • At least 1 year of small-animal practice experience. • Strong communication skills and ability to explain medical concepts clearly to pet parents. • Comfort with technology (Zoom, EMR platforms, scheduling tools). • A calm, patient demeanor — especially when pets or pet parents are anxious.
