The role of Telemedicine Physician is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to provide care from the comfort of your own home. Equipped with state-of-the-art telemedicine technology, you'll conduct patient evaluations, provide care guidance, and maintain documentation through our secure electronic health record system.
Key Responsibilities
β€’ Conduct annual Baseline Visits for health plan members, spending 70-90% of your time performing telemedicine consultations that prioritize preventive healthcare and management of chronic conditions.
β€’ Oversee and collaborate with Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs) for the remaining 10-30% of your responsibilities, offering mentorship and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
β€’ Provide timely medical advice and guidance to APPs as necessary, facilitating collaborative treatment plans that address patients' needs effectively.
β€’ Contribute actively to fostering a respectful and engaging workplace culture that promotes teamwork, staff satisfaction, and ongoing professional development.
β€’ Work towards obtaining and maintaining necessary multi-state medical licenses to practice effectively and meet the needs of our diverse patient population.

Qualifications
β€’ A Doctoral degree in medicine (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
β€’ An active and unencumbered medical license in Texas, with a strong desire to obtain additional licensure in other states as required.
β€’ A profound passion for preventative medicine and dedication to enhancing patient health outcomes.
β€’ Prior experience in telemedicine is highly advantageous, as it demonstrates familiarity with the nuances of virtual patient interactions and care delivery.
β€’ Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a servant-leadership mindset that prioritizes patient and team needs.

Preferred Experience
β€’ Hands-on experience in both in-person and virtual primary care settings, blending both modalities seamlessly.
β€’ A background in primary care, ideally with experience in family medicine or internal medicine residency training.
β€’ A history of working collaboratively with healthcare teams, including direct supervision of APPs, fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
β€’ Medical licensure across multiple states, showcasing adaptability and commitment to diverse patient needs.
