[Remote] Telehealth Advanced Practice Clinician (Part time)

They are seeking a Telehealth Advanced Practice Clinician to provide medication abortion care to patients via their online platform, conducting visits through video, phone, or asynchronously. Responsibilities Provide medication abortion care to patients via Hey Jane’s online platform Conduct visits via video, phone or asynchronously Review patients’ medical intake responses Communicate with patients via HIPAA-compliant messaging app or during live appointments Determine patient eligibility for online medication abortion treatment Prescribe medications to a mail order pharmacy or local pharmacy for patient pickup Respond to medical inquiries from patients requiring further medical evaluation Direct nursing staff regarding referrals and additional prescriptions as necessary Skills Active Board Certification, in good standing to practice medicine Active state licensure (NP, PA-C, CNM) and licensed in one or more of the following states: CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, VA Willing and eligible to apply for additional licenses No restrictions on ability to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payers 1+ year experience providing abortion & reproductive healthcare Interest in providing caring and compassionate services to diverse population with a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients Professional commitment to mission, philosophy and goals of Hey Jane.
